I do not know how to do anything. I need to work but who will hire somebody who has never worked before? I haven't even volunteered before. I'm scared for my future. I almost feel like crying right now to be honest.

I am sorry you are feeling afraid .

I don't really know much about your background, education or interests, but it is certainly OK that you have never worked before. Everyone has to start somewhere!

Volunteering would be a fantastic way to get your foot in the door and to gain experience in your desired field. There are national registries online that you can browse for opportunities in your area.

Also, have you considered speaking with a guidance / career counselor?

I'm sorry that you feel so badly about yourself. We all had to have a first job. That's how it starts. With each job you gain more experience. Just remember to do the best that you can so that you will get a good recommendation.
