I got tired of being the gloomy worrier today and decided to just fix things!

* Not feeling well - bought a thermometer, I'm not running a temp, called Dr and got appointment for tomorrow to address some physical health concerns
* Want to have a dental checkup - will take in or mail insurance info to new dentist in the morning
* I am calling a tobacco cessation program through work this evening. Refusing to go out and buy any more cigarettes or e-cigs. Tough luck, nicodemon, there's the door, have a nice day.
* I'm making a to-do list for the next week or so - not too little, not too much
* Realized my lovely surge of can-do resilience is fading after an hour, so I'm trying to stay active and upbeat tonight
* I'm trying to apply my T's advice of "just do it", without overthinking

*pats self on back*

Nice work. Ever think of incorporating exercise into your daily routines? Even taking a brisk walk can "lighten your mood" and keep you upbeat and going.

If things get rough and you can't continue the route you're on don't be too hard on yourself. Just doing it can be exhausting
Thanks for this!

GOOD FOR YOU! I think just writing the things down that you want to accomplish is a step in the right direction. Whether you do it all or a little at a time it's definitely a good thing." Empty" is right and a walk or some other form of exercise can help you to stay upbeat. Please let me know how it's going for you.
Thanks for this!

This is a great proactive approach. I stay active by either exercising (I have not done so recently) or taking my child to many different activities such as slamming, park, riding bike and even jogging).
