Hi I'm not sure why I came on here to be honest ! I'm 22 an live on my own all of my family have got their own stuff going on and sometimes I feel like I shouldn't burden them with my problems and don't think they would be able to help . For the past few months I've just been feeling really down I'm not sleeping or eating properly and seem to have lost my passion for everything in life. I just seem to have terrible luck whether its with money or men or life everything has just been getting to me lately and there's no One i can talk to I just feel like everyone else's lives are going somewhere and mine isn't

Bless your heart. I know what you mean. It can feel pretty lonely. Are you SURE that your family wouldn't be there for you? Don't you have any support? You might try talking to them -- you might be surprised.
First thing is you MUST start eating better. You would be surprised at how our diet affects our moods. If we don't eat properly, we begin to feel terrible. We become depressed, and lethargic -- all we want to do is sleep. You need more protein, and a balanced diet. Make sure you get protein, and lots of fruits & vegetables. Also, you should be exercising more, even if it's just taking a brisk walk. If you don't feel safe on the streets, walk in the mall. You're pretty safe there! ![]() If your depression doesn't lift after you've done these things, then you should see a therapist. A good therapist will help you deal with depression and get to the core of what's bothering you. Your medical doctor can refer you to a good therapist -- someone that he knows is good. I wish you the very best! Please take care and God bless! Hugs, Lee
