I'm so fed up with everything and everyone. I want to choke everybody out. Anyone elses depression ever turn into hostile feelings? It's almost scary, I hate feeling like this.

Yes, but in my case it is almost always turned against myself. And yes, it is scary.

it reminds me of one of my favorite calvin & hobbes cartoons, where calvin says he feels miserable - then he changes his mind and decides he wants the rest of the world to feel miserable! that and when his snot froze in his nose, and when his pants tore and he mooned his class - are my 3 faves. what can I say, i'm weird!

Yes, I encountered some people who are suffering from depression, they become very hostile towards people around them, you can see they have so much anger inside that I feel like walking on egg shells around them. Some even take hurting people as enjoyment rather than being boring.

Yes, when I'm feeling really down, so low that it feels like that is my limit, sometimes I will want to just punch someone in the face. I feel very unstable, I don't know who I am, or what I will do. You never know, you know?

Well, actually depression is anger turned inward. So we're actually angry with ourselves. So I can see becoming hostile, but we're hostile towards ourselves, really. There's something inside that we either haven't taken care of, or there's something someone has done to us that we did nothing about or couldn't do anything about, etc. So we're angry at ourselves. Makes sense, huh?

CallMeWezzy, You're sure not alone with this feeling!
I'm with you all the way and I think it's very common for Depression to turn into Anger. I feel it's one way for a person to vent inorder to get rid of, or ease the depression.
My brain is going "a mile a minute" trying to think of something that would help you understand and cope with these feelings!
Anger and Rage are an outlet sort of. At least for me. Neither feeling is good of course but I just want you to know that you're not alone.
Wishing I could give you a big hug,
Nanci
