"this too shall pass" that means I hope these thoughts are less intense for you soon.

sometimes, just getting it out whether written or spoken is helpful to relieve the pain. idk what u and ur therapist go over during your sessions, but there should be a list of things you should do. like r u safe? what will work for u? through these posts or in the chat room? (((gizmo)))

Meds have been a life saver for many people. You might have to try several meds, and it will take time...but you already should know that beating how you feel is sooo worth it.

Hope you find what works.

meds are good. i don't have to take a lot fortunately but i have .5mg xanax to take as needed. i usually work on other eays to emase a anxious situation before taking one. with me knowing i have my meds with me, even if i don't take them calms me down.

When you're in such a dark place, sometimes medication is the only thing that can pull you out of it. You might have to consult with a couple of psychiatrists to find one you're comfortable with. It took me a couple of tries.

Big hugs to you, gismo.
Thanks for this!

Hang in there Gismo, hang in there. Have faith and if you need to seek help from a therapist, please do so.

If it's that bad then get yourself into a psych ward. Stabilize, assess and find how you can get back into life. First step crisis intervention.
