I just got home from the hospital, again. But this time it was way worse. On Monday, I od'd and cut my wirsts. I talked to a crisis hotline lady for two hours while doing those things. She finally managed to get my location and called authorities. I was in the ICU for three days, out of it. I woke up on day three. One of the ICU ladies said I really shouldn't have survived this one. I went to a psych hospital on an M1 and spent two days sleeping. And today I got to go home. It's good to be home, but I'm so exhausted. Plus, I got an infection in my arm so I need to take antibiotics that make me very nauseaus.
I think I realized that yes, my life sucks, has always sucked, and most likely will always suck, but it's mine, it's the life I was given, and I better make the best of it. I feel a new calm, like I made my peace with it. I'm glad I'm home, my kids are over the moon, the dog went nuts when I got home, and now I'm ready for bed.

Please feel better, thanks God you are alive, have faith, hope, think about your wonderful children, also your pet and about life, life is so precious.

Thank you guys!
 Already have a new challenge today to get through. My new job called yesterday and wants me to start today. Well, our car is still in impound (long story, but it's been there since I od'd in it and the police gave my husband wrong information), and we won't be able to get it out until tomorrow morning. Now how am I going to get to work today???? And back???? No buses on Sundays, and I don't have the money for a cab. What am I going to do? My neighbors are really my only hope here, it's too early to go ask, but hopefully someone can drive me there and pick me up. It's not far luckily. I can do this!

I'm so sorry you are in such deep pain wwie. I know you just want out but I am so glad you are still with us. I have seen some of your other posts and your profile and I thought of this old message..in case it might help a little.. http://forums.psychcentral.com/showthread.php?t=160587
