timeo, that's not true....nobodies given up on you, your giving up on yourself. just because you don't change immediately and soak in every word of advice somebody gives you doesn't mean you have failed them in anyway.
take your time, adapt to your situation, and take the advice and use it when you need it. don't be so hard on yourself, your valued here.

All of us have to find our own way and many times there is no "right or wrong" and we sometimes wander until we find what is best for us. That can take a while. I am here to support you and will be here whatever your choice is. Please be kind to yourself as these can be very big changes to make. Be patient with yourself. Take care

I suspect that you don't disappoint people as much as you think. I find that it is a sign that I am failing my own way too high expectations. Is that possibly true for you? I know that it is hard to see let alone believe but you haven't let anyone down here. Everyone must go at their own pace. Keep working!
