I'm feeling a bit low. I can't cope with friendships.
How do you prevent yourself losing all your friends during a bad patch?

Good friends will stick by you, those who dont, are on some other plane that you are not right now. Dont worry about them. Take care of you and if they are any kind of friend they will still be there when you pull through this.

I tell my friends, I am going to hibernate for the winter, summer, etc... Don't forget to poke me with a stick every once in a while. My friends will email me if something is happening they know I would not want to miss.

Or you have issues you need to take care of you will be back, don't forget you.

When having depression it can be very easy for people to irritate you. Over of a course of last year I had two friendships that were dissolved. One was someone I was not crazy about and the other one let me go. I guess the one that let me go could not deal with my health anxiety. I only have one friend now and there are times that he really gets on my nerves. He means well, but it just happens that way.

It's nice to have a friend that you can relate to and would understand you.

Have you told any of your close friends about your medical condition? I find that I'm closest to those I share my health status with, especially after I tell them.

Good luck,

RJ

Hi, yes my closest friends know about the depression. Some of my friends understand the situation and some struggle to understand.
