I have read that depression can have anxiety as part of the disorder. I am trying to figure out why I get scared when I do my nightly waking up. The past few nights, I have had some odd fears that are not even rational. Can that be part of depression? Am I trying to lose my mind? I would like to keep my mind. Even if I sometimes feel like I can't find it.

They have found that depression tends to be correlated with anxiety in the sense that people who tend to get depressed tend to get anxious as well, and people who tend to get anxious tend to get depressed as well.
Do you wake up feeling scared, or do you wake up then get to thinking and feel scared as a result of the thinking? I'm wondering if bad dreams are waking you up, or if you are waking up then getting to worrying... Relaxation exercises (where you focus on your breathing or something instead of focusing on your thoughts) could help you stay away from the head circles and get back to sleep... |

I don't think you're losing your mind, you're just scared. Everybody get afraid and has anxiety dreams. Are you under a lot of stress or is this time of year an anniversary of some kind for an event the happened in your life? (((((((Hopefull))))))) It's going to be okay. If things get too scarey just come onto PC and we'll give you lots of hugs. |
