I'm no longer angry. I'm not even sad. I'm in waiting.
Just waiting.
For what? I don't know.
I feels like I have to wait for something to happen.
So, here I am...
waiting.
I wonder how long I'm going to have to wait for.
And I wonder when I'll know what it is I feel like I have to wait for.
Does anybody else feel this way?

{{{ JAX }}}

I guess I never looked at it as waiting.

"Stuck" is how I feel. Frozen. Blobbish.

Can't move forward. Can't go back. Just sort of stuck...

We can be stuck and wait together. waiting

Thanks Petunia,
Sorry it took me so long to write back. I haven't been online much recently.
((((((Petunia))))))))
I think you're right about the feeling stuck part. That better describes it.
I hope we both get unstuck soon.

well you said you were waiting waiting

I understand waiting. I understand stuck. They feel like two different things to me. waiting

But, jax, you posted this in depression... waiting so I have to think that is the underlying emotion causing your "waiting?"

Hi Sky,
waiting Yeah.
The answer to your question seems simple enough to answer but it took me a long time to think about what to write in response to it.
Isn't that weird?
It's like asking the chicken or the egg question to me.
Am I depressed because I'm waiting/feeling stuck
or
do I feel like I'm stuck because I'm depressed.
It's all very philosophical.
Or I could just be in a strange and warped frame of mind right now.
I've been sleeping a lot lately-maybe I'm not fully awake yet.

Sounds like you are "numbing" as a coping mechanism, imo. It's ok... let yourself be with it. (((hugs)))
