I think that warning is there to avoid putting people in the position of knowing that someone is ending thier life and not being able to do anything about it.
I've been on several forums, and honestly, this one is less censored than a lot of them.

From what I can gather, you can say that you have thought about suicide or attempted it in the past. You just can't say "I'm going to commit suicide".
Try not to let it upset you. (easier said than done).

What ever you have or have not done, you are an important person. I can garuntee that you have touched someone's life along the way whether you know it or not. What you want is an end to your misery, and that isn't the same as ending your life. We only get one chance here in this life. Once its gone, its gone.

Do you have a therapist? I know that isn't always a pleasant thought, but there are ways you can improve the way you feel. You don't deserve to feel so angry and depressed. Sometimes finding a therapist is difficult when you are in the middle of a crisis. Is there someone who might be able to help you find someone? You can always change if you don't like the person and aren't getting along well.

Please try. Suicide may or may not end your pain, but it leaves beind guilt, anger, questions and sadness in the people who know you. Believe me, I know. I've made several attempts in the past years and they just caused more trouble than they cured. Please let us know how things are going. You will find support here and so many people who have gone through hell or are still there. We just want to help.

Sometimes it is hard to post here when you know that you have to avoid talking about suicide when that's where you're at. I'm not sure what kind of details you shared, but I can only guess that it would make the rest of us feel really, really helpless if you were actually talking about ending your life.

We do care about how you feel and can understand more than anybody else, so I hope you keep coming back and sharing with us. There are many who can provide much needed support and even ideas and perspective.

Do you have any kind of real life support? Friends, family, a therapist?
