I think that it is important for us to have some sort of motivation especially when i am depressed. I think i have lost all motivations to study hard, stop cutting and get well. How do I find new motivations in life to keep me going?

To me it sounds like you need some "you" time...try to remember something, anything that gave you a little pleasure before (that is safe) and treat yourself to something that will give you a lift for a little while, take your mind off the pressure to study. Do a painting, sing a song in the hot shower, or go to a movie if possible that is a comedy. . Take it moment by moment...know these hopeless feelings will pass. Being motivated is a big struggle for people with depression. |
