Some of the best moods I'm in are when I have the spark of a new idea or begin a new project. For example, last week I was talking to potential designers to redesign my website. The ideas and excitement were building. Now it's one week later, my first choice fell through (few candidates left) and I don't care about it anymore.

These commitments and failure to follow through with things happens a lot in my life. Why and how can I maintain levels of excitements?

If you pick a project , are you very interested in it? I think our level of excitement relates to our level of interest. Are your projects ideas that are realistic for you to complete?
Thanks for this!

Is it possible you have negative thoughts that tell you it won't work and you can't be successful? that's what it would be in my case. I have to tell myself not to listen to those negative thoughts, they are almost always completely inaccurate. every now and they they aren't, but it's still good to keep trying hang in there and good luck!!

I struggle with this, too. I get loads of good ideas, make commitments and then drive myself crazy with the struggle to follow through.
