Just out of ideas of what to do. Went to the doctor a couple months ago and got different SSRIs and SNRIs. They just caused insomnia so then they put me on sleeping pills to deal with that. Going to a psychiatrist and nothing's really changing. It seems like the answer is either a leap of faith or suicide but I can't bring myself to do either. So far nothing has worked and I don't know what I'm supposed to do.

Hi unhappycamper463, I would recommend you come back here to PsychCentral. You will meet a wide range of PC members who can help with any questions. You just have use the private messaging here to contact a member.

With regards to your current condition, try a number of activities, some of which your psychiatrist may have already recommended. E.g. Exercise is an activity that helps the body return its normal levels of biochemicals made for proper brain functioning. Depending on the symptoms of your depression, if concentration a problem the games forum helps focus.

You might want try the chat room later and see if you can get any more ideas to work on
Depression.

There are online lists in the folder regarding depression resources in this forum, so check those to see what you might want to follow up on. These are suggestions for you to consider.
