It's bad enough to feel bad emotionally, but today I am struggling with even being upright. I have a project that has to be done by tomorrow, so I have no choice, but I feel like someone has tied 500-lb. cement blocks to all my limbs: just very heavy and dragged-down, and bone-weary.

What do you do to get out of times like this? Or do you just ride it out? I'd love to hear.

for me it depends on what the deadline is for - court hearings I know there no getting out of it so I do my reports a month ahead that way when the panic and so on sets in as the hearings get closer my report is already done. Therapy wise it depends on who is setting the deadline and what the project includes, if the deadline is unfair and unrealistic I flat out refuse. and still other situations the only thing I can do is plug my nose and jump in the deep end and hope I don't say or do the wrong things at the wrong time. I found It helps when I break the project down into steps and at the end of each step I take a short break to clear the head, eat and so on.
