I don't know why I feel so crappy today. I guess it's just a whole bunch of little things that feel huge.

My co-worker -always- calls in his sick days on Monday, I wouldn't care so much if he was really sick, but half the time he calls in a vacation day so I know he's not. I hate this so much!! What it really means is I have to cover the phones all day which means that someone has to cover me while I go to my therapy session. It's so awkward when I come back to. I guess it doesn't help that they don't know what I am doing at this "medical appointment" I go to every week..... still.....
I feel like he takes advantage of the fact that I'm always here. I feel like he doesn't take into account that there are other people besides him in this office. When he's here I enjoy his company and when he's gone I think he's a jerk.

I just hate that every time this happens I feel like I'm a bad person for taking time out of my Mondays, away from work, to go see my T. I feel like my co-workers feel that I'm selfish for doing it especially since I'm the one that gets saddled with all this crap.

It makes me not want to be here and it makes me hate myself so much.

Sorry for my rant....but I'm feeling kinda crappy.

What would happen if you called in sick on Monday?

I think they wouldn't care so much unless other people were out on vacation, which people are for the next couple of weeks. Otherwise I would call in sick on friday......god I need day off.....

That kind of stuff gets to me too. Easier said than done I know, but I wouldn't beat yourself up for taking time out of work for a T appointment. You're taking care of yourself during that time.
If you're able to request time off in the next week or two (even a day!), I would recommend doing that. A day to relax or do whatever you want. I think that might help. Good luck!

Yes, that sounds frustrating. But you haven't done anything wrong in the situation, you're consistently doing the same thing, which people can plan for in advance! You're being responsible, he's not.
