I haven't been 'coping' well since last summer... This makes me feel useless, disgusting and inadequate. I have a string of medical dxs, feels like as many as the hairs on my fur sometimes, I feel surrounded with them, everywhere I look there is another thing i can't do, another thing that triggers me, another thing I'm allergic to. another scary threatening black cloud just waiting to drown me with black noxious liquid.

Enough of my whining. Maybe I do belong in this slimy pit I'm constantly trying to climb out of.

Multiplying diagnoses and limitations is genuinely overwhelming. I've no talent for getting out of slimy pits; the best I can do is confirm I've heard your "Grrr". And your "Grrr" is real and meaningful.

Hi fuzzybear I'm sorry you've been having a bad time.
I don't think you are any of those things you mentioned.
I hope you don't mind me saying but sometimes I think you need to become and angry bear for a bit. I think there is a big strong good bear hiding inside you. Maybe it's time for her to come out and say enough is enough.
Either way you aren't any of those bad things.

Hi Fuzzybear: No... you don't belong in that slimy pit! You may have allot going on & it can be difficult to cope... but you don't belong in a slimy pit. Where you belong is probably at the top of a mountain! (Well, okay, maybe a small knoll- LOL!) But really you should give yourself, as well as get from others, credit for managing with all of the things you have going on!

I have a similar situation. I have an impinged disc in my low back & sciatica down both legs. The toes on my right foot are numb. I had a detached retina in one eye, It was repaired but I was left with "floaters" that roll around in my eye & obscure my vision as they pass by my lens. I had surgery for prostate cancer about a dozen years ago & I have ongoing problems related to that, & I have ringing in the ears from Meniere's disease. Let's see... is that everything? I think so... Oh, & I guess I could also throw in that I have an obstructed nasal passage as a result of having had my nose broken by a bully in high school! Ah well... ain't life grand?

Fuzzy,

No one deserves to be in a "black noxious fluid" and that means you. Sometimes, when living with and through the afflictions we deal with day to day, it get's tiresome. It doesn't seem fair and it wears you out. If there could just be a break so we could breathe and replenish our strength. Those are the worst of the worst times.

Those are the days when muttling through is the best we can do. It takes more fortitude and sheer determination to accomplish that goal than most will ever know. Fuzzy, we know and we support you in your struggle.

You make my heart smile when I see you hula,

Sabra
