I am so bad i really do not know what to do? Nothing at all means anything to me, i am so sick & tired of feeling this way. Everything to me is a big chore even showering. It's getting to the point where now it is affecting my physical symptoms. I go to see the doc on Tues but i do not want to be put in the hospital again this will be like my 10th time. I am so ashamed everyone there knows me so well & i do not think anyone ever went back that much.

Hi Pacots,

I wish you weren't feeling so low. I don't have any really good advice. Seems that I'm in a really similar place to you. I don't think there's a point to anything because I haven't experienced any joy or sense of accomplishment in anything in months. I've been in bed mostly the past 2 days and haven't eating. Eating is a chore, showering too, I completely agree.

Hang in there? There's got to be something. I'll be trying to hang in to, even though I'm not so sure why.

Hi pacots,
I don't think the people who work at the hospital are judging you, and, if they are, they need a new job. Also, you are their "bread and butter," no? If it weren't for you (and me), they wouldn't have anybody to help.

I also don't feel like showering. No one seems to know how hard doing seemingly mundane, simple things, feel like they require so much effort.

I feel exactly the way you do. I am trying to hang in there but merely by a thread. I hope we can pull out of this somehow.

I'm so sorry you are feeling so badly. I understand the apathy that comes with depression. Maybe just take each chore one at a time. Say to yourself that all you ouhave to do is eat something, then you can go back to bed, or just take a shower. Take baby steps that don't overwhelm.
In the meantime my heart goes out to you and I do hope you feel better.

Wow, pacots. I didn't realize you became a member back Oct 2009!

I hope you can get something out of PC this year. I only write that because you're more anonymous here than some other places.

Hope you are doing better soon.

Hi Pacots, how are you doing today? I'd like to hear.

Please hang in with me.

The thread is very thin today.

I care
