Baby Steps

So excited, i'm finally taking little steps to get out of this depression, even though i had a depressive episode today, i still feel like i'm slowly getting better.

For example, tomorrow I have a job interview, which i am very excited about(: and a girl i sit by in class asked me if i wanted to hang out with her at lunch(: i'm finally crawling out of my dark little corner and am making friends.

Very proud of myself.

Do any of you have little success stories about getting back out there and getting in the community/making friends?

Good for you, missminnie! I'm so happy for you--hope that interview tomorrow tomorrow goes your way. I'm especially glad you're feeling good about yourself, because that will help to keep the momentum going.

Slowly I am. I haven't made a suicide attempt in over 2 months or hang thought on suicide. And since I'm on anti-depressants and seeing a therapist now I think things are getting better for me.

Congratulations!!!! I'm so happy for you. It's great that you feel enthusiasm for the future. I hope it continues to go up, up, and up.

Hey guys, just updating, my interview went very well, my (hopefully!) future boss told me that she was very impressed in me and the way i act/am personality wise and how much i have accomplish, especially for a teenager.

She has one other person to interview, and i should know if i got the job sometime soon,
