Ok, i need suggestions. I need to get out of this house. This is driving me insane. My dad just told me that he can't wait until i leave--- big surprise.. My brother jerks off and wakes me up every morning. I'm sleeping on the top bunk and he's on the bottom. I"m supposed to get my room back next week. But until then i don't know what to do. I can't stop shaking. I am the biggest loser i know right now. I'm paying 200 dollars a month to take care of my mother and get insulted by my family. Does anyone know of any good subsidized housing sites to look at in Macomb County or Oakland County of Michigan? I went looking today and my dad was more than happy to hear i might be leaving soon. I don't understand why my brohter is allowed to get away with all of this [censored] but i'm not. Oh and then my father/landlord yells at my today because i told him that i can't stand my brother fuc*king jerking off under neath me. It felt like my bladder infection came back yesteday. it is getting really hard for me to walk. I can feel my bones breaking down. I'm only 20 years old, so it's not like anyone understand why i should be in pain. My brother was mixing chemicals yesterday in the bathroom and i really had to go because i didn't want an infection. I went in there and the chemicals made me puke on the tolet. Then he comes in to the room while i was trying to chat on here and starts vaccuming my feet and legs and he almost sucked up the computer cords. I"m on a laptop so i'm sitting on the floor as it is. Anyway, I got to go make my mother dinner and get some laundry done before i get too tired.

It was really nice chatting with you. Sorry about your living circumstances, etc. Do you have any friends who also want to get out on their own? If you can find some roommates you could get along with, you could share expenses and maybe be able to afford rent that way.

You shouldn't have to put up with what you are now, and I'm sure you will find a better solution. You sound like an intelligent, clear-headed person who knows what she wants and is willing to work for it. You'll get there.

I do not know much about your state for I live in Missouri.. and we have all kinds of temp housing things that you are looking for..

as for your bother jerking off, tell him it bugs you and you woul like him to bo to the bathroom or somewhere else to do it.. Say hey, what would you do if I satrted doing that above you..

Hi, I am sorry to hear of your disturbing living circumstances. I when I was your age also lived in a house of "caos" and alot of the time felt no way out. It can really add to the depression and problems in ones life. When I was 21 and decided to "get out" of the situation I was In I went through my local mental health and they provided me housing in a group home or half way house, It wasn't the permant answer and there were alot of rules as far as like curfew and helping out around the house, There were 12 of us and we each had our own room. I stayed there 5 months and I remember when I went upstairs to my room, with My key, and I sat and listened to the "Peace and Quiet" I smelled the clean smell of my room and looked around and said finally free.

Anyway now I live in a one bedroom apartment owned By the Housing Authority. I dont know what housing is like in Michagan, But I am In INDIANA and If your city or county has an office of HUD or Section 8 program, You can apply and if you qualify you can either get a certificate for an apartment or have them help you in one of the housing projects. The one I live in is really clean building and it is based on my income and my rent including utilitys (heat,elec,water) are included, and all together I am paying about 50dollars less than what you are paying your dad. Maybe this hasn't been much help, Just trying to help and let you know not to give up hope.
