While my mother was at work, I wrote a letter to her telling her about me feeling depressed. I told her why i feel depressed, how it feels, and that I just want to get help soon. I'm waiting for her to come back home. I'm so nervous, but I feel a bit lighter now that I've finally decided to tell her. I'll make another thread after she gets the letter and everything. Thanks for the support.

good job izzy. im proud of you for getting your feelings out and having the courage to present them to your mom. make sure to stick to your guns about needing help regardless of her reaction.

I'm sure that took a lot of courage. I hope your mother can understand. If she has a bit of difficulty just show her the information on this site which should help her understand better.
I would also like to know how she responds.
Good luck

Yay! I'm so happy you did that. I hope you get a positive reaction and the treatment you need. Please tell us what happens.
