I have my initial appointment w/the NP this afternoon. I bet she prescribes an SSRI, even though they ALL cause muscle spasms.

I am tentative about this appointment as well as in pain from a tooth filling gone bad.

Usually I can verbally regurgitate all of my issues. UUGGHH

I hope you get a great appointment. I hope he can prescribe a good medicine that doesn't affect you badly. I am taking Agomeltine 25 mg. I don't think this is a SSRI. It also helps me sleep.
Good luck and let us know how it goes

I actually liked th NP. She was kind and did not rush me. She prescribed Cymbalta 30 mg, but want me to follow up w/ the psychiatrist in a month vs her. I would rather follow up w/ her, but since I am difficult to medicate, she wants him to see me. I advised her of the therapist's "personality disorder" dx..she gave me a strange look (as if to say WTH?) so I stated "well we can count out NPD & HPD". She said she is treating me for MDD first. She asked how T was going, and i advised her T was moving too fast....that maybe ina year i could do the things she wants, but as I am barely getting outof bed & brushing my teeth, the modd logs are out...she advised me to tell T and she also agreed...NP said if you can only brush your teeth daily, you need to work on meeting your basic needs/ADLs.

Thanks for everyone's support.
