This morning I had woke up crying. I just can't seem to stop. My breathing is way off this morning. I'm all stuffed up, my hands are starting to get sore and all I can think about is how angry I am with my doctor for not trying to even help me. I just feel really bad today and I've only been up for an hour. I wish that there was no such things as allergies. I just feel so down because of all this. Why all of a sudden do I feel so low? Everything has been going great for the last few days. I just don't understand why I feel so low all of a sudden. Started off on the wrong foot...

I'm sorry about this pamelasu.

Why won't the doctor help? Could you possibly see another doc, or have something over the counter for the allergies? (((pamelasu)))

The over the counter allergy stuff doesn't work for me. I have to have a stronger medicine that has all three, anihistemes, decongestent and pseudouphedoren in it. Over the counter stuff usually only has one of then in each different type of medicine. I have been trying for over a year to get my doctor to get me on a perscription plan and he hasn't done a thing. I keep going back and getting after him to do it but nothing happens. It's just so frustrating. Started off on the wrong foot...

Oh dear, really sorry about this. Does he give you any reason as to why he is not giving you anything? How does he expect you to cope... Started off on the wrong foot...

I'm not sure how it works but is it not possible for you to get to see another doctor? or going private etc.?

please get another doctor if you can...someone who hears what you are saying...does he even give you a reason why he won't give you what you need? If he didn't get paid until you were satisfied...then it would be a different story...that is how doctors should be paid...help the patient feel better first....then get paid...

I had already paid for my meds to come in. They charge a $5 co-payment for the paitent assitance program and I already paid that, but he still hasn't done anything to get them in or anything. It's just so frustrating. I'm ready to get a new doctor, one that will do their jobs.

pamelasu:

You need to find a new doctor! the medical professionals need to remember that we are their customers and we need to be satisfied with their services. He souds like he is wanting you to suffer, and believe me there is way to much good medicine and doctors out there, one that will be compassionate and help you through your crisis. My advise would be find a doctor that cares!! you deserve that, we all do as human beings.

(((pamelasu))))

I agree with everyone else - you need a new doctor! .. I remember last spring i had severe allergies, and i remember just how much it set off the depression. That is a huge contributor to why you are now feeling so down. If you can get anything to lessen your side-effects, i promise you will start feeling better physically, and emotionally.

Take care

Tomorrow I am going to see about getting a new doctor, even though I have a full schedule tomorrow with classes. I think that I just really need to get in to someone as soon as I can. Not only am I going to get treated for my allergies but I am going to also try to get treated for my depression as well. I know I have been doing well with what I have been doing lately but sometimes I just need something to help me through the big hurdles of life.
