Oh no. Not today. It's Friday.
But I can't help it.

Third day of school today. For Enriched English, out teacher had wanted us to write down 5 songs that described us and explain why - a soundtrack of sorts. Here is my list:

"Better Version of Me" - Fiona Apple
"No Parachutes" - Throwing Muses
"Isolation" - Joy Division
"Girl Anachronism" - The Dresden Dolls
"Chop Suey" - System of a Down

I read mine and about halfway through I realized that all of these songs described me for one reason only: depression. By the end of explaining "Chop Suey" I said, "Yeah, that's it, I'm done." Then went back to my seat. I kept thinking about that on the way home and I've been slowly falling down ever since.
I was just coming out of an episode, too, damn it! This is NOT a good way to start school. Hopefully this won't last very long - I've got things to do and need to be able to pay attention at school.

I have a counselor already. I do plan on talking to her about it my next session, which isn't far away. Talking about it when I'm either just going in or coming out tends to trigger another episode. Blech. Not fun.

Dont beat yourself up over something you have no control over. You are depressed, and you need help. Accept that and you are half way there. I do agree with Bharani that esucation is of the utmost importance. Best Wishes to you.
