I feel so trapped right now and my depression is worse than its been in a very long time
I only leave my house on tuesdays and once a month i grocery shop. I live with my daughter my grandson and a house guest who's over stayed his welcome. I have no car and walking is very dificult for me. I have basically no friends and no life. I'm supose to be in theropy but have no way to get there since med cab rules have changed. I feel beyond lost and trapped and there's no one i can really talk to. My husband wad murdered in 2008 and i am all my kids have. so i feel obligated to remain on earth but I'm pretty bitter about it. And honestly I feel like I'm just existing.

I'm sorry to hear about your husband. It must be really hard for you. Depression does trap us in our own head. I've suffered for years, only to feel I am just existing. I, too, am all my daughter has so I must keep going. I know you must be lonely with no friends and as our bodies age they also trap us in situations we can't help. I'm sorry you can't find a way to get to therapy because I think it might really help. Being on PC is a good way to make online friends and that can be a big help. Are you on any meds for your depression, if so maybe they need to be changed. If you are not on any meds you might consider seeing a doctor about that. I've had to be off mine for a while now due to medical conflicts, so I know how bad it can get without meds. Good luck and keep posting.

What a difficult situation in which to be! My heart goes out to you, for surviving the loss of your husband, the loss of your transportation, and your depression. Hopefully you can get to the doc and get some new meds to improve your mood. Feel free to post again--we are always here to listen.
