Almost two months ago my chihuahua/miniature pinscher went missing, and I'm almost positive she was stolen. I work nights, and while I was at work, she wandered down the hill we live on, and was snooping around the parking lot of the local gentlemans club.

Her name was Miracle, and that's what she was from the moment she was born. I was there since her first day, and even though she wasn't really mine until about 8 months old, she bonded more with me from the beginning than she did with her owner. She was only a year and a half. She was the smartest animal I've ever met (I taught her to fist bump!) And she had thee most adorable underbite.

I canvassed the city with flyers, had ads online in multiple places, and even ads on local radio stations, but I haven't found her. I'm so heart broken that Ialmost can't function. I've thought about getting a rescue but I don't think I am ready yet... *

I'm so sorry for your loss. Being a dog owner, I understand how much they come to mean to us. I will say that after I had to put my poor Lexi to sleep, due to illness. It took me a while but I found getting another one helped me heal. I will never forget Lexi, but I have the joy of another one that is different but just as special. You will know when you are ready. Hang in there.

I'm so sorry about Miracle. You've suffered multiple losses in a short time. There's no minimizing the grief.

Please try to be gentle with yourself.
