Hi all,

I am on Zoloft to handle my depression issue. I have asked this a bit before, but sometimes I get so anxious in the morning that I need some reassurances. Even as I play with my daughter, I feel nervous which gets me incredibly frustrated.

One of the side effects of Zoloft (and SSRIs in general) is an increase in anxiety right? If I am looking at my calendar correctly, this is Day 8 for me on the medication.

I remember this happening the first time I went on Zoloft in 2011, but I always thought the anxiousness was due to another issue happening around me (that I believe cause my depression). This time I just got depressed without being too anxious.

Anyway just looking for some reassurances. Thank you!

It could be a side effect. I would discuss it with my doctor. Sides effects a lot of times will go away after you take the drug for a while. Good luck.
