Recently I've realized that most people I know simply repeat back to me what I've said before, or they pretend to really like something, but don't. It's as if everyone I know is fake, and when I hear conversations from themselves, or others no one else talks like this. Why do they do this to me? Are they trying to be nice but have no idea how to talk to me, or are they just saying whatever till they can make their excuse to leave?

I think it depends on if they know of the diagnosis . if they do know some thing then they are treading lightly around you.
