I'm 30 yrs. old, I lost my dad at the age of 18 from heart disease and diabetes. I was still in high school. I sometimes have to look after my ailing mother who is battling the very same illnesses that killed my father so its hard for me to watch it again. I am married for 5+ years and the marriage is failing. My husband has lost his job over a year ago. He is very depressed too and its taking him longer to get back into looking for work. I worked in customer service over 10 years and now I got a promotion to another department with a raise and then they cut back on my hours of work drastically. I have been looking for some help to cope with all of this because it drives me crazy!!!

Sorry - end of my political rant. Sorry for your issues. Sounds like you need a second job. And prayers.

I agree - this is the kind of situation where someone suffering from depression needs practical help. Apart from joining PsychCentral, have you reached out for any type of assistance or for help identifying what resources may be available to you?

Just for reference: 211 New York State
