My wife is going to my therapy session tomorrow. We are both very nervous about it. My therapist wants to get us all on the same page since they are my only support.

this is a very good thing. since you do not exist in a vacuum it is good your wife is being brought in on your sessions. what you do impacts her and vice versa. so very good move.

I know it is probably a good thing but a part of me thinks of therapy as my space and I am not sure I am ready to let her in that space yet.

If your not ready then wait, there is no shame in that. Have you talked about this with your T? Have you told him that you're not sure if you're ready or not? I think it will be a positive thing to get your wife involved with your treatment and healing, it will give her better skills to help you
Thanks for this!

Trust you Ts judgement. It doesn't mean you have to give up private sessions, too. But it will help build your relationship with your wife. So many have spouses that won't participate in the treatment of their spouses, you are lucky. If it doesn't feel right you can always go back to private sessions.

Gayle, that's true. If your T suggested it he must believe that you are ready for it
