Have you ever done something impulsive that it's difficult to enjoy life? What I did a year ago (impulsive behavior) is one of the reasons why I'm so depressed. I hate that I care so much what others think of me and hate that I'm being labeled because of one mistake. I rarely go out in public because I think people are judging me. I don't know how to forgive myself and move on. I feel so miserable right now.

Have you considered talking to a professional about this? It probably would help get some perspective on your situation, and how you can bounce back from whatever it is you did.

I'm very sorry you feel this way, but I can absolutely relate. I made a lot of mistakes before I was properly taking care of my mental health. Embarrassing drunk and alcohol fueled hysterics in public, sexual escapades that every one knew of, naked photos, you name it and I ****ed it up. It's so important to try and put those things behind you, the fact you are feeling remorse for them (I didn't at the time) means you are a better person now. We can all be forgiven and if others can't see that then they aren't worth even thinking of their opinion!

I'm seeing a therapist and I've discussed this with her. I'm just having a hard time moving on.
