Has a certain something worked for your treatment resistant depression? I need something fast, really fast. Meds, CBT, DBT, ECT, etc? Please give me some hope.

Creativity, challenging myself, working hard at things I'm terrible at, facing my fears, helping other people, working on healthy relationships with family and friends, eating healthy, getting exercise, all these things are very rewarding. It's just a matter of having the discipline to do them or trying my best at forcing the discipline. I'm definitely not an advocate of the medication route unless it's a very serious case of depression.

I work full time in a job I love, I just hate living. I have everything to live for, just no desire to live. It's sabotaging my life. I guess you could say I have a most severe case.

Yeah man or perhaps lady. Me too. I work a full time job too and it eats away my life. I just try my best to make the best of the time I do have outside of that. I'd say about 90% of the things I do I have no desire to do the same as you. But you just gotta keep going.

I love my job, it's the depression I could do without.

Interesting. What do you feel is causing your depression? If not just how your brain is wired.
