Someone told me today that "things will get better soon". I hate being told that. Especially considered this time of year is the worst time of year for being depressed. Things will not get better with Thanksgiving and Christmas coming soon and you are feeling alone.

The holiday season also gets me down, not that I can get much lower and I hate when someone says "things will get better soon" either.
You might volunteer a nursing home or hospital. I know that I helped out at nursing home last Thanksgiving and we took the ones that were able to go, out to eat. It was very nice to have people that enjoyed my being there. It was nice because so many don't have family to come see them.

Thanks for the response. November is doubly worse for me since my birthday comes close to Thanksgiving. So I always feel like my birthday gets ignored because there's a family holiday coming. And family holidays bother me because I get tired of my family making comments on the fact I'm still single.
