Sorry you are having a bad day(really). I spend most of my days depressed. But today I went for a 45 minute walk just because I knew I should. I really did not feel like it or want to, but I went anyway. Glad I did.

And this too shall pass. I've been saying that for 9 months now. I'm sure it will pass soon. And I still believe it will.

This happens to me too, and it's not unusual: the harder you try not to think about something, the more you think about it. That dynamic undermines many - not all - attempts at self-distraction.
