So it is cool and rainy here and now I have to pull myself together to be Super Mom... Not feeling it today at all. My oldest daughter is struggling with depression and I am taking her to the doctor today. I feel like it's my fault and I am so scared and guilty and ashamed of myself. But this is about HER not ME. Just wish her daddy was here to help me out

SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOPER MOM. You got a cape?

You have nothing to be ashamed about. You are doing what you should - you are HELPING your kid. Sounds like dad could use a major kick in the butt.

Useless is right, (and not so useless) you have nothing to feel ashamed or guilty about. You are doing all that you can for your daughter and that is the main thing. That in itself makes you super mum!

I hope it goes well

Dad is working. So, can't be mad at him. No jobs here so he has to work on the road. Thanks, and no, I don't have a cape....yet

That's one thing about kids, they drive me nuts, but they also give me energy and make me excited.

kids do pick up on your mood. But they don't adopt it entirely. You get ones who will also how to help when they see you're stressed. You get those that give you hugs when they see you sad. As much as I want to hide those things, I can't always.

As much as you are super mom, you are human.

It's ok to be human.

It's not your fault and you are getting your girl help.

It will be ok. You can do it!
