I just feel so overwhelmed! I haven't even gotten dressed passed putting on my bath robe the last 3 days. It's been a challenge just to talk myself out of bed. Even then I've only made it as far as the couch. Kids are fighting non stop. My 3 year old has taken to telling people to "shut the f- up". I finally got a call from the Agency needing nurse coverage at some of the facilities, but it comes in the midst of an "ice storm" and I can not make it off my road due to the ice! Since I had to turn that down now I feel like they won't call me for another position because they'll feel like I won't be dependable. I feel like I just can't win.

Keep your chin up. They can't hold you accountable for the weather and if they do they need help. It'll get better.

Oh no....I know the feeling...I'm bracing for the bad weather coming too....but...we all are in the same boat...Get that robe on and feel like you've done it!....I've laid for days in just my boxers....I've watched the days come and go....just know you can't change every little thing....and most ARE little.....your 3 year old will come around....especially when others respond to him...that will self correct....Call that agency and when the weather clears change the robe to the uniform......................

I didn't feel like getting out of bed either today.
I'm having coffee and now feel like going back to bed.

And tomorrow I will force myself to go to work.
You hang in there. Baby steps.

I have been known to be holed up for days in my bathrobe and ignore everything around me too. The only thing I can do at those times is hang on and know it will pass...eventually.
