when you are blindsided by a depressive episode?

That precise thing happened to me literally overnight - - woke up in bad depression on Sunday, 8/4/13. I called my pdoc the next morning and was started on viibryd. It's not doing a damn bit of good; the depression persists.

Do you think it may be time to start an antidepressant (if you're not already on one)?

Thanks for the response newgal, I am on an antidepressant. It helps a great deal to know that I' not alone.
