I have been sleeping better generally but tonight i just have insomnia again, been trying to sleep for over an hour but just restless and aggravated. maybe gonna try some herbal tea again or something
i know we are supposed to take baby steps, and not worry about small setbacks, but babies eventually learn to walk and i am still struggling as hard or harder than i was before. and after a few weeks of trying to be active or positive or constructive i seem to just slip back to start, do not pass go, do not collect 200 dollars. i need a mental "get out of jail free" card or something. or just some hope. -- The world is what we make of it -- -- Dave -- <A target="_blank" HREF=http://www.idexter.com>http://www.idexter.com</A>

thanks everyone i'm up for my doc appt this morning but i feel like crap. probably won't be able to make it to support group tonight, but i am going to try not to go back to bed after the doc appt.

lol it scared me at first because i thought his mouth was his eye, and his eyelid was a frowning mouth, and the other eyelid was i don't know what (that's what made it scary!) and his eye was moving up and down like he was looking around but yet he was asleep with the zzzz's or maybe he was just in REM sleep.

Hi Dexter it's 2:30 am now and i'm tring to get some sleep too. I've had a rough day again today. I like this post though, it's nice to know i'm not the only one up. Oh and i agree i think the moon had something to do with last night because i kept waking up all night and i usually don't. (although it could also be my cold medicine). Anyway, i'm going to attempt to sleep now. good night everyone.

Hey Dex,
I'm sure you've discussed this before, but have you talked to your doc about a sleep aid of some kind? Maybe Ambien, which clears the system very quickly (after 4 hours), and doesn't leave you feeling groggy. Like I said, I'm sure you've talked about this before, but I'm inherently lazy and don't want to do a search... ![]() Greg "Children seldom misquote you. yep thanks greg... you did mention it but i don't think i ever responded. he hasn't given me a strict sleep aid but have been adjusting my meds to help me sleep better. the switch from zoloft to celexa at night was to help me sleep, but then i went back to sleeping all day, so he doubled my dose of wellbutrin in the morning to compensate.
overall that did seem to work well. in fact i had two days in a row where i was able to stay out of bed all day, haven't done that in a while. i still slept late but was able to resist taking a nap during the day. still very hard to do though but progress. the other nights sleep prob was just a random day of insomnia i think (i hope) and i did nap yesterday after getting home from the doctor, not right away though i resisted as long as i could... but i wasn't resigned to go to bed as soon as i got up. given the lack of sleep and the early rise for the doc appt i didn't feel bad about napping again, as long as it doesn't become a habit. thanks again bp btw i don't know if you saw the "links" thread but i put a link to your website from mine on the "friends of dexter" page. i think you said a while back that you were expanding it for business purposes (am i thinking of someone else?) make sure you let me know if/when you do so and i will add a description next to the link. also check to see ok if i listed you by name, which is how it appears on your site. -- The world is what we make of it -- -- Dave -- <A target="_blank" HREF=http://www.idexter.com>http://www.idexter.com</A>
