I am truly struggling with sui thoughts. I have no intention of doing anything just so you know! I just can't get the thoughts to stop. I am going through a lot in my life right now so my stress level is at an all time high!
I have tried so hard to distract myself, but nothing works.
I just don't know what to do.

Hi onlymedid. I'm sorry you're feeling so down. I've been struggling with the same thoughts, especially yesterday, so you're definitely not alone. Like you I know I will never act on them. I hope there is an end to this pain for you, and for me. Let's keep the faith!
Hugs from:

Thanks for this!

If you need to talk about things that can't be talked about on this forum, there is a support group that works out of the UK that allows any information or feelings to be discussed, including suicide. They are called the Samaritans. Google them for the e-mail address. If you can't find them, message me and I"ll give you the e-mail address.

Nothing you say on their site will be passed along. They will ask questions, but respect your right to privacy. I've e-mailed them many times. They answer your e-mails in 12 hours or less. I've been e-mailing them off and on for the past four or five years. They will never try to contact you. You have to contact them.

That being said, they can't solve your problems. If you aren't in therapy already, I would strongly suggest finding one that can help you sort out your feelings and make sense of it all. They can also script you temporary medications to help you through it. That would be the first thing that I would suggest.

Depression, anxiety, muffled voices (?) and other stuff -- that is a lot, and I suppose there's more besides.

Can you get your doctor to follow you more closely? This seems to be one of those times when self-help efforts might be insufficient.
