I'm sorry you're feeling so badly, do you have a therapist or anyone you could talk to?

are you brave enough to check yourself into the hospital via the emergency room? antidepressants really help. i was suicidal for the longest time, in the deepest darkest pit of despair, the end of my rope, and like a magic wand, the right antidepressant turned my life around. i cant believe the difference they made. i only stayed on them two years and i havent been depressed since. i swear there is hope. just reach out and ask for help. take care

If you don't have a therapist and/or don't want to go to the hospital, you can call a crisis line and just talk. It can be very helpful.

I'm sorry you are feeling so awful. You might want to talk a bit about some of the disappointments life has brought you. I have a feeling some have come your way, and you have been discouraged by them.

I have the suicide prevention chat line saved to my favorites on the computer. It is anonymous and they work fairly well, I have used them almost nightly lately. They are good people and really want to help. Please try them out if you have no other resources.

I'm not sure I understand what you put above. If you think you have to be 18 to go to the emergency room, you don't. Maybe that is not what you mean. It does take courage to go to the ER. Another option is to go directly to a psych emerg, if there is one in your community.

There are crisis phone lines that specialize in helping teens. Here is a link. Boys Town | Hotline

I don't recommend texting, but it is an option. On the internet, there are other resources. If you identify yourself as under 18 (and you don't have to,) they will be extra concerned about helping you access resources that are hard for a minor to access. I think you might find it good to talk to someone in a live context.

It is true that, if you sound like you are on the verge of self-harming, they may try to trace the call and send police. They don't jump to that conclusion right away though.

I was saying that I am scared to go tot the ER. I also was saying that I am under 18,I can't drive myself there, & would rather not go to the ER.

I don't want to do it over phone. Is there resources that they will talk to me online? & If I tell them I am considering suicide-will they call the police?

I have been feeling like this lately, but not this suicidal.
Thanks for this!

If you want, here is an online chat where you can talk to a trained and certified volunteer. It's similar to a crisis hotline but less terrifying than a phone call.

Best of luck to you! Just know that many have been where you are now

National Suicide Prevention Lifeline This is the website I use, it has helped a lot. I am not big on talking on the phone so the chat system works better for me. They will not call the police unless you ask them to, they even state that if you ask it would be better for you to call yourself. They have helped me a lot.

the chat SUCKS - because it is so limited on WHEN you can use it.

Sorry my depression is not limited from 2pm-xxpm EST.
