 Got a new intern ..... she is very sincere , hard-working , decent girl. Got fond of her, liking her so much ....its has just been a week.. today asked her out ... That can I get to know you better ? She said ... m engaged, getting married soon. ... Don't know anything right or wrong..... but my heart is broken .. she has all the good quality I would appreciate in a partner... why is she engaged ? why why ... now its damn hard to work with her... how would i mentor her for coming weeks.. big stone on my chest. Similar things keep happening with me ... when ever i choose some one ... i just cannot get her... |

Firstly, welcome to the forums.
Sorry to hear that it didn't work out with her Unfortunately finding 'the one' isn't easy but hang in there. I am sure in time there will be other girls out there who have similar qualities and aren't engaged.

Stop investing thoughts in people you obviously don't know(you could have asked if she was single long before embarrassing yourself). Depression from loss normally goes goes away, we all get depressed.

Randomant13, I bet this was maybe the best thing that she is involved with someone else. Think of the wonderful opportunity you will have to get to know her and maybe even figure out a little bit more about the kind of woman you like. Not many guys have a friend like that.
