Got an F on a economics paper. Section outline from our workbook.
Now I can't get our during the final hour of the day - "Flex" - to see my friends
Sigh. I'm such a letdown. God, I feel horrible. I emailed him about it because I thought my teacher said that it was basically take whatever notes you need. I didn't write in complete sentences and he must have severely marked me down for that - BUT HE DIDN'T MENTION COMPLETE SENTENCES!
We may be enriched kids but you need to let us know what you expect, lest this happen! I know I'm just one kid out of a couple classes, but still, I have a few problems right now and I don't need them worsened due to a stupid ******* little misunderstanding on my part
God, I feel like I'm going to cry. Over a ****ing paper.
So pathetic.

Aww, it's okay to cry. It feels bad. We just have to learn from our mistakes. My marks weren't all perfect this term so far, and I'm a 4th year student - but you have to keep learning, as the challenges keep increasing. That's life. Hang in there.

I had a similar experience last week when a Communications paper I turned in was returned unmarked because it didn't meet the requirements for some very (I think) trivial reasons. Now I have to go back through 26 pages that I worked really hard on trying to figure out how to get this damn thing acceptable enough to be marked. I suppose it's better than just getting an F, but still very frustrating!

I sympathize with your situation. The way schools are structured can lead to situations where a student feels completely powerless... a very bad situation for those of us prone to depression.

Don't forget to give yourself credit for everything you've done to get to this point. Many people struggling with the issues we deal with can't function at all in an educational environment.

I emailed my teacher. He was very understanding and allowed me to redo my paper. He also took down the bad one in time for me to see my friends today, so all it well.
