I found out via letter last night that my welfare case was denied. I'm waiting to hear on SS disability and have no other income, so this is a huge blow.

I totally lost it last night and feel exhausted and depressed today. My boyfriend isn't really saying much to me, and he's decided to go out for the evening.

I feel so lonely right now. Sad, terrified of not having money to put gas in the car or even buy deodorant. Confused as to why my boyfriend chose this night to go out. He always stays out very late, so I'll be asleep by the time he comes home.

Losing hope.

You have had a rough day, and for that, I am sorry. Could you ask your boyfriend tomorrow why he chose to go out tonight? Maybe he needed some space. Talk to us, we are here for you.

I don't know why he went out. He was gone half the day, running errands anyway. I cried most of the day. I don't think I can be with someone who isn't willing to be with me when I'm hurting.

That really sucks, to be honest. Could you go for a walk, or do something physical? Sending many hugs your way.

It's too late for me to walk safely. I'm just sitting here feeling sad. I'm going to try to find another place to live. Even though I'm not up to it, I'm going to find a job. I can't be with someone who refuses to be with me when I'm hurting.

I think that you are making a good decision. Can you find yourself a project you can do? I like to find things to do to get my mind off of certain things. Maybe draw something or make a artsy thing.

Hi Gloamingone--

I'm sorry you had such a rough day.

Any luck with Smmath's idea of starting a project? Sometimes just doodling can help. Maybe even write down what you might want to talk to your boyfriend about?

(Not that I am one to talk. It still takes me quite a while to bring up the bigger issues with my spouse.)

thinking of you--
