Careful Who You Dance With - Parenthetical Girls
Be careful who you dance with Somebody's bound to get his head kicked in This wasn't how we planned it And now don't go asking where we've been We're all reckless romantics Why fight the function we've been furnished with? There's no good way to say this, Best just to take it on the chin Tomorrow - Daughter By tomorrow we'll be lost amongst the leaves, In a wind that chills the skeletons of trees, And when the moon, it shines, I will leave two lines. Find my love, then find me. No One Believes Me - Kid Cudi You can't call it You can't shake the feeling Be quiet not one sound But the wind seems to speak Something's here in the room with me

Sting - Englishman in New York, captures the way I feel like an outsider all the time. Also just the struggle to "be yourself, no matter what they say" when it all seems like such a lost cause.

Traveling west back toward Eden (interestingly the wise men in the Gospel account of Jesus' birth came from the East), has been full of confrontation with the trials and tribulations of living outside the Garden. She is an artist without doubt disappointed that paradise was not as close in 1969 as she and so many others hoped it was. Her work is now filled with the reality of humanity's failure to achieve the prophetic dream of her song, but never without the hope that that day will yet come. |

Had a bit of an epiphany earlier today
![]() One of my favourite songs... and it struck me that though depression is a whole different kettle of fish to the context of the lyrics... it worries me that those close might take an 'excuse me' if this continues over a prolonged period.

I have a few but my screen name comes from one of them:
I Am A Rock by Simon & Garfunkel It actually says alot about how I feel/am with depression, just keeping to myself because it's just easier that way. My screen name is the very last line of that song. |

I'm a walking nightmare, an arsenal of doom
I kill conversation as I walk into the room I'm a three line whip, I'm the sort of thing they ban I'm a walking disaster, I'm a demolition man --Sting

I'd have to go with
Six degrees of inner turbulence, describes BP and PTSD as well as 4 others. Dust into the Wind, Kansas describes how I feel in depression. Into the West, where I'd like to go when depressed. May it be; Enya as how I'd like to come out of the darkness.

That's hard to say:
Bluffman - Darkstalkers OVA Victor's Theme- Darkstalkers Revenge Fine Again- Seether Theme of Gemini- Android Kikaider soundtrack The Hell of Civil War- Demon's Crest Legend of Firebrand- Demon's Crest Bat Country- Avenged Sevenfold House of Cards- Madina Lake There's even I song I made myself at one point that was inspired by Victor's Theme... Most of these songs represent my existential...everything. There aren't many songs with words that fit me perfectly. There are exceptions, but sometimes I have no need for words since the atmosphere speaks for itself Last edited by JustTvTroping; May 13, 2014 at 04:25 PM. |

Greg Brown - "Oh Lord, I have made you a place in my heart"
Oh Lord, why does the Fall get colder each year? Lord, why can't I learn to love? Lord, if you made me, it's easy to see that you all make mistakes up above. But if I open the door, you will know I'm poor and my secrets are all that I own. Oh Lord, I have made you a place in my heart and I hope that you leave it alone. No song comes even close to catching the feeling of depression. |
