The song - "MY IMMORTAL". I'm so tired of being here, suppressed by all my childish fears. But if you have to leave, I wish you would just leave, your presence still lingers here, and it won,t leave me alone.

The song that best describes my depression would have to be Don McLean's old song "Vincent, Starry Starry Night". The song was originally written about the painter Vincent Van Gogh, but it hits me where I feel right now.
Thanks for this!

Lately it has been "Gorgeous" by Indina Menzel....hoping that my T will hear me and and catch me as I fall. Her lyrics are really poignant and beautiful...

Love this song, it used to be my screen saver on my old desktop.

The Night comes Down - Queen

Once I could laugh with everyone
Once I could see the good to me

Holding the world inside
Now all the world is grey to me
Nobody can see you gotta believe it

Oh oh the night comes down
And I get afraid of losing my way
Oh oh the night comes down
Oooh and it's dark again
And it's dark again
And it's dark again

When I'm feeling a bit hopeful, it's:

Shattered by Trading Yesterday (More Than This album version with the words in the chorus).

interesting thread! Song best expresses depression for me: "Low" by REM - spare, vocals sound exhausted/wrung out/devoid of feeling (how I feel when depressed)
