I guess I wanted to try and brighten things up a bit. c:
For me, it's volunteering at the local animal shelter. All the dogs and cats there are my babies, and being around them hardly ever fails to make me feel loved.

My belief in... any and all paths to God... whichever God(s) there may be.
Accepting the fact that there is no one right or wrong method of faith, but in finding the right one for me... I will never be truly alone.  I feel like the (color blind) dog that sees its first rainbow. There is wonder and awe in the very possibility of the unknown.

One is growing up playing hockey and my dad being very supportive of it.
And my high school hockey coach was very good. We won the high school state championship in Michigan in 1981.

Perfect thread is perfect
 My family because even though they cause me a lot of grief and stress they love and support me. Good food. Because a great yummy meal never fails to put a smile on my face. Friends. On the days that I'm feeling completely and utterly hopeless, I have been able to talk and hangout with others and keep fighting a few more days. Definitely one of my coaches and the social worker I talk to at school. If it wasn't for them I don't know where I would be.

Teaching adult literacy.
I'm not sure I could have admitted that when I was all grown, taking the time from work and my family and learn to read as an adult. Most have learned to fake it, struggle along at about a second grade level, and are always scared they're going to be caught out, especially by the boss. For the ones who stick with it, life gets an added dimension of magic. I think all the children of the adults I've taught have become good readers, and both reading & writing have brought them joy. I wish I could still teach.
