I happened on this information on depression management on TED Talks on YouTube - takes about 20 minutes to watch. It seemed worth viewing and a lot of the ideas can be implemented at home. Just thought I would share with anyone looking for new ideas.

Ilardi's book is very good. He's got some very good concepts, and this video summarizes his book "The Depression Cure". I agree with his point of view, and when I wasn't in the depths of depression and not thinking of ending it all, his six steps to getting well made perfect sense. Now that I'm in a deep depressive episode, medication is helping me turn things around...thanks for posting this link

I just watched it. I wish it was longer! I'm already in the habit of doing some of this stuff and it really does work.
Thanks for telling us about this video. ![]() |

Wow thank you for sharing! My therapist had suggested the omega 3/6 via fish oil and b vitamins but I never bothered with it. I think I may need to now.
His message is so hopeful to me. I mean, wow. I don't want to be back on meds again if I can help it and I think I'm going to look into this book. Again -- thank you for sharing. This might have been a bright spot in my day. ![]() Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |
