If my doctor or her nurse sees cuts on my arms, what will happen? I'm 19. So I guess doctor-patient confidentiality? Will I lose my insurance or something? My mom has insurance through the school district, it's the cheapest plan you can possibly get, but has done pretty good so far in my almost 19 years of existence. I don't have a psychologist or whatever, my normal doctor has put me on all my meds

Why xanax and konopin?
Other than that you have the usual meds. Nothing unusual. I don't think the doctor or nurse can do anything. It definitely will not effect your insurance. They are going to be concerned for you and probably encourage you to seek therapy.

In my opinion you should tell the doc who is prescribing your meds.

Hopefully, your doctor will recognize that your cutting means you need to see a psychiatrist for your medications. I started out with my GP doing my med management, but eventually I had to see a psychiatrist because she didn't know what else to do.

You will not lose your insurance if you are in the USA. You are allowed to be on your parents insurance up to age 26, even if you are not living with them. Hopfully the GP will understand you probally need to see a specialist.

Klonopin was for sleep. I stopped taking it but keep it just in case.

Xanax and klonopin are basically the same just klonopin lasts longer. Are you in the USA? I would tell the doc about your self harm and get referred to a psychiatrist and therapist. They are there to help you. You have nothing to be ashamed off.

Hello, do you feel that your meds are helping you. Do you feel stable in yourself?
If "yes " is the answer, thats great. If "no" is the answer then you need to tell your doctor about your depression and how you are really feeling. Your phisician is there to help you. I hope that you feel that you can talk to him/her. Best wishes and keep safe.
