My big brother leaves tomorrow for Basics (Navy) and the more I think about it, the sadder I get. My brother is the only one who defends me against my parents. My parents don't believe in having mental disorders, so me having anxiety and depression makes them angry. My brother is usually always on my defense because he knows what depression is like also. Now that he is going to be gone, I will be home alone with parents and that's sucky. I'm not scared of them, they would never hurt me or anything like that, but I am just worried that my mental health is going to get worse after he leaves because my parents don't believe anxiety or depression are real issues. (sorry for the rant, I didn't know where else I could have put this.)

katelyn1019, Do you have a counsellor or therapist you can talk to? I remember when my brother moved away. I felt so lost and alone.

No I don't, unfortunately since my parents refuse to believe anything is wrong with me, they wont let me see a therapist.

Dear Katelyn,

I hope you're fine!^^

Would you mind telling me wt happened on you recent years that make you depress and nervous?

Recently years ,I'm not in good mood too....yet I know that it is because of my thoughts. I complicate all the things by myself..

What do you do in your leisure time? Maybe you can find sth interest and to make yourself happy..

We all care and love you!!
Thanks for this!
