So sick of having such a good day and having good things happen but the minute I get into bed, it's like the floodgates open and I'm ready to give up again :'( and I'm sick of having good things happen and not feeling anything, just emptiness :'( sorry for the rant

No need to apologise for that! And you certainly are not alone in respect to what you described.

Happens to me a lot as well , though some times I equate it to the following: good days can be mentally draining in their own way... we're having a good day... we want it to continue so we try especially hard to keep our mood up.

Sadly, it does catch up with you and depression will seize it's moment.

Thank you for that, I'm so glad I'm not alone!

You're most definitely not alone it feels terrible when you can't respond correctly to a positive event and when boom, negative thoughts hit out of nowhere and just ruin whatever progress you make u_u It's exhausting.
Thanks for this!

It is true that even good events can trigger depression. Any kind of change whether good or bad can be very scary and trigger depression. It doesn't make sense but it is true.

It happens often enough. Like you can barely feel any 'happiness' and when you do it goes downsouth so fast tou can't control it. Hugs
